Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company has announced the departure of Chief Executive Officer Mr. Bernold Schroeder who will be stepping down from his role to pursue another business opportunity. Following his departure Mr. Simon Zhang, the former CEO of Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels Development Co.,Ltd. will assume the role of CEO at Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company.
Schroeder has served as the CEO of Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company since 2011, during which time he has been responsible for all aspects of the company’s star-rated portfolio and establishing and executing its operation plan while directing the strategy and mission of the company.
“It has been an honor to have been part of this leading national hotel brand in China, and to have had the opportunity to be part of the prospering growth of Jin Jiang and to start a further internationalization,” Schroeder stated on his departure. “I have had a truly rewarding and fulfilling experience here and I am confident of the future developments of the group. I have met many great and wonderful people during my time here and it has been a pleasure to work with such a great team of dedicated colleagues. It will be tough to leave this great team and community however I feel this is the right time for me to pursue new challenges that await me. ”
