
On August 27, to mark the 90th anniversary of the Jin Jiang brand, Jin Jiang Hotels (China Region), a leading Chinese hotel group, hosted a strategic cooperation launch and Southeast Asia Investment Summit with Malaysia’s RIYAZ Group at the Kuala Lumpur International Trade and Exhibition Centre. The event attracted nearly 500 Southeast Asian investors and seasoned Chinese hotel franchisees. RIYAZ also introduced RJJ Hotels, a hotel management company newly established for this partnership.
At the event, Jin Jiang Hotels (China Region) and RJJ Hotels signed a management license agreement, cementing their strategic partnership and announcing plans to jointly develop over 180 hotel projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and the Philippines over the next five years.
RJJ Hotels also signed 11 hotel management agreements and memoranda of understanding with Southeast Asian hotel owners and investors, including state-owned enterprises, Chinese business leaders from the Penang Chamber of Commerce, and cross-sector investment firms. The first batch of projects will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Penang, Kuching, Kuala Terengganu, and Luang Prabang in Laos. The earliest opening, Jin Jiang Metropolo Luang Prabang, is expected early next year.
