State-owned property conglomerate Greenland Group’s Hong Kong-listed subsidiary Greenland Hong Kong and China’s online travel giant Ctrip announced that the two companies have reached a strategic agreement to jointly launch self-help serviced apartment brand G-Hotel.
According to the agreement, Greenland Hong Kong’s serviced apartments will be listed on Ctrip’s online reservation platform. Travelers can book G-Hotel acommodation on Ctrip’s website, check in with passwords and check out by themselves.
Individual owners of Greenland’s residential property can choose to be part of the G-Hotel project, authorize listing of their units on Ctrip’s platform, and get real-time updates about their house rental and revenue.
A series of G serviced apartments will first be launched in Shanghai, Kunming and Huangshan, including business brand G-Hotel, vacation brand G-Holiday and upscale-business brand G-International.
Greenland Hong Kong’s COO Guangjun Hou said that G-Hotel is targeting guests of three- and four-star hotels and the G-Hotel offerings will also be available on the property company’s own online booking platform for investors. (Translated by Jerry)
