Data from the Ministry of Transport show that China's railways carried 22.89 million passengers from April 30 to May 3, while 2.53 million air passengers were recorded during the time.

For the first four day of the holiday period (May 1-4), the Chinese tourists made 104 million domestic trips and created a tourism receipt of RMB 43.23 billion (USD 6 billion).

On May 1, 8,498 A-rated tourist attractions nationwide reopened for business, representing 70% of the country's total attractions. These attractions only operated with 30% of their capacity, restricting visitor number to lower the health risk for the tourists. (Translated by Jerry)
