The occupancy rate for all hotels in operation (excluding certain franchised Starway hotels) was 88.9% in the third quarter of 2016, compared with 89.2% in the third quarter of 2015. The decrease was mainly due to lower occupancy of new brands, and partially offset by improved occupancy in mature hotels.
