PhocusWright’s recent report, “Emerging Online Travel Marketplace in China,” estimated 19 percent growth for online travel in 2009. The same report estimates that, at $6.9 billion, online travel represents 11 percent of the travel market in China—and that proportion is expected to nearly double by 2011.
US Airways deploys international websites

Saturday, 22nd March 2008:Amadeus, a global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, today announced that US Airways has launched five international websites, with four more coming soon, using the Amadeus e-Commerce Airline Suite to power their online shopping and reservations.
