The company counts the likes of Marriott, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Premier Inn and Kerzner on is customer list.
Revenue of accommodation reservation, transportation ticketing, packaged-tour and corporate travel revenue increased by 21%, 6%, 27%, 30% separately in 2018.
The acquisition will add 3,500 bookable restaurants to TheFork’s network, bringing the platform’s total number of bookable restaurants around the globe to 60,000.
The agreement will see TUI Destination Experiences develop exclusive excursions and day tours with Chinese-speaking guides for some destinations.
Ctrip and Trip.com will utilize Rezdy’s live-inventory management platform which maximizes access to markets around the world.
The platform's trading volume is expected to double this year annually, and losses are expected to narrow to one-third of that of 2018.
"We know that speed, manpower efficiency and scalability are equally important. What’s not going to happen this year is that we will only manage to keep 5,000 of the 10,000 hotels we signed in 2018."
The deal will include Ctrip's global expansion brand Trip.com.
