ChinaTravelNews-The “China Hotels of the Future Alliance” has been jointly formed by Greenland Group, Hainan Airlines,ZTE Corp and Taihe-Atour Hotels. Members of the alliance will share loyalty memberships, rewards and rewards points as well as conduct joint marketing and brand promotions.
The alliance also will also look to cross-sector cooperation with distinguished companies in online financing, travel and air purification solutions to create innovative services that link hotels and different lifestyle needs, in order to offer better quality accommodation and travel experience for alliance guests and create original lifestyle products for users.
Alliance partners have said that while Chinese hotel groups are facing many challenges, the rapid growth of China’s economy and tourism industry has made the nation the largest domestic tourism market in the world for a number of years and this presents plenty of opportunities.Global hotel brands are aggressively expanding in the Chinese market and OTAs are forming strong partnerships to increase their market share and put pressure on the hotel’s profitability. The private guesthouse industry is also rising to challenge traditional hotels. These factors are prompting the hotel alliance toward innovation and reform.
Each member group will leverage the strategic alliance to share resources and complement each other to eventually achieve win-win solutions for all parties.
The alliance currently has almost 300 mid- to high-range hotels (including hotels under construction) in China’s major business and tourism destinations as well as overseas cities. Member hotels have a total of 80,000 rooms and over two million mid- to high-end loyalty members. It will strive to meet the increasingly varied and individualized tourism and corporate travel needs of its members and create a hotel industry ecosystem.(Translation by David)
