Social networking site Flyertea, which provides corporate travelers hotel, flight and credit card information and travel solutions, has received an investment from Stone Capital in its A Series financing round.
The financing will help Flyertea enter a new level of development, and its membership of registered users is expected to grow from almost 140,000 currently to 200,000 within the next two years. It will also formulate a new series of strategic goals that go beyond just satisfying its members’ social interaction needs. The platform will be transformed into a one-stop travel solutions platform that provides its frequent-traveler members more comprehensive services.
The majority of Flyertea’s users are professionals in high-growth fields such as IT, finance, law and consulting, and are mainly in the age group of 30-40. Flyertea claims its members are all luxury hotel VIP membership holders and are the cream of China’s business travelers. (Translation by David)
