OTA Utour achieved 40.32% y-o-y growth in revenue, recording RMB4.217 billion turnover and 24.32% y-o-y growth in shareholder profits totaling RMB109 million.
The remarkable growth is attributed to Utour's new travel products, expansion of multi-departure- point offerings, a strong focus on a diverse O2O marketing campaign and the steady development of the company's operations.
Utour operates outbound tourism products wholesale and retail and MICE, stretching geographically across Europe, the Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, Asia and North Pole and Antactica. China’s outbound tourism market has enjoyed sustained growth and grew by 19.49% passing the 100 million benchmark with 107 million recorded trips last year, according to the China National Tourism Administration.(Translation by David)
