The China National Immigration Administration announced a visa-free entry policy for ASEAN tourist groups entering Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province on February 10, effective immediately.
Tour groups of 2 or more people from 10 ASEAN countries, namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia, holding ordinary passports and organized by Chinese travel agencies can enter and exit visa-free. They may do so via Gasa International Airport, Mohan Railway port, and Mohan Highway port.
The permitted travel area is restricted to the administrative region of Xishuangbanna Prefecture in Yunnan Province, with a stay duration not exceeding 6 days.
