Accor buys back shares from Jinjiang; Chinese firm expands global footprint at ITB Berlin.

Accor repurchases 2.77% stake from major shareholder Jinjiang

French hotel group Accor said it has bought back a 2.77% stake in itself for EUR 275 million from Chinese state-owned hotel group Jinjiang, a major shareholder of Accor. After the completion of the deal, Jinjiang's shareholding in Accor was reduced from 7.96% to 5.33%.

Shanghai Disney Resort announces new expansion plans

Shanghai Disney Resort plans to introduce another separately themed attraction within Shanghai Disneyland, according to a news release on Monday. Located adjacent to the recently opened Zootopia area, the new themed attraction is now undergoing initial preparation work for construction. The news release did not give any detail on the attraction.

Cathay Pacific posts first annual profit since 2019
