The French carrier said this is in view of the current sanitary situation and the regulations for passengers flying to Chinese Mainland (PCR and IgM tests mandatory at Departure and Transit Airports).

Air France announced on March 3 that it has decided to strictly enforce 1 ticket rule for passengers flying to Chinese Mainland when traveling via its hub.

As from the 22nd March 2021, any Air France passenger flying to Chinese Mainland via Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport with separate tickets will not be able to travel and will be stopped at the first Air France touchpoint.

The French carrier said this is in view of the current sanitary situation and the regulations for passengers flying to Chinese Mainland (PCR and IgM tests mandatory at Departure and Transit Airports).

If a traveler's itinerary has more than one flight, he or she should contact ticketing agency or Air France Call Center before traveling to ensure the passenger is holding one ticket for the full itinerary to China. If the traveler is holding two separate tickets for his or her trip to Chinese Mainland, the passenger should ask the ticketing agency or Air France Call Center to modify the two tickets to one ticket. Modifications are subject to ticket conditions, according to Air France.
