Short-haul tours provider “55 km” announced that it has received tens of millions of yuan in its angel round of financing, backed by SoulLink Asset, Eagles Fund and Huadan Angel.
55 km started out as a consumer-facing short-haul tours platform and designed distinctive itineraries for domestic travel and tours to Southeast Asia, but it has since extended to include the corporate sector. In June this year, 55 km opened its first flagship store on Fliggy.
Hongjing Dai, cofounder of 55 km, said that the keys to boost sales lie in traffic conversion, product selection and travel safety. After a tourist boat sank in July this year, 55 km launched a safety operation mechanism and suspended island tours during the rainy season around the world.
