TouchBistro said May 31 that it raised C$16.3 million ($12.1 million) in Series C funding led by Napier Park Financial Partners and Recruit Holdings Co Ltd. Existing investors including BDC IT Venture Fund, Relay Ventures and Kensington Capital Partners also participated. TouchBistro is an iPad mobile point of sale app for restaurants.

In the last year, the company has grown its recurring monthly revenue by 150 percent and deployed more than 15,000 iPads in over 9,000 restaurants around the world. TouchBistro POS solutions process Gross Merchandise Volumes of almost US $5 billion annually.
