Shenzhen-based travel company Tempus Global posted a 22.53% YoY increase in operating revenue to RMB 869 million in the first three quarters of 2016. Net income attributable to the listed company’s shareholders was RMB 124 million, up by 16.24% YoY.

Tempus Global’s investments in B2B travel distribution platform Octopus and outbound tour handler Joy Tour has helped it integrate customer acquisition, service platform, supply resource and finance into one chain.
Tempus Global will further leverage its resource in Octopus and Cncn Travel, a B2C and B2B travel service provider in which Tempus owns a 65% stake, to coordinate its air ticket and travel resource.
The company will also continue to explore the finance service sector by innovating insurance- and investment-related products and building a clearing platform for the travel industry with its e-payment license holder TftPay, so as to build a closed system of capital in the industry.
