Shanghai Dazhong Taxi & Car Leasing (Dazhong Taxi) announced on March 7 that it will be the first taxi company to launch a hired car and taxi service platform at the end of this month.
The upcoming platform will integrate services from online hired cars and cruising taxis using the company’s own Buick Business vehicles and Passat taxis initially. The platform will be open to other taxi companies in the country.
Meanwhile, Shanghai Qiangsheng Holding also told thepaper.cn that they are ready to launch their own platform for hired car services, pending relevant regulations from the Ministry of Transport. (Translated by Jerry)
