ChinaTravelNews – Utour and immigration agency Hangzhou Sida have signed an agreement for a strategic investment and officially formed a partnership.
Hangzhou-based Hangzhou Sida is Zhejiang province’s leading immigration agency approved by the State Public Security Bureau. It offers immigration services for Chinese migrating to the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe, strictly abiding by State and immigration laws and guidelines. Utour’s partnership with Hangzhou Sida signifies Utour has taken another step towards the creation of the most competitive comprehensive outbound service platform in China.
China’s migration industry has been growing rapidly in recent years. The World Migration Report 2013 by the UN reported that the total number of Chinese migrants went from 4.1 million to 9.3 million from 2009 to 2013. China is the fourth largest nation with the highest number of emigrants after India, Mexico and Russia.
After forming a strategic partnership, Utour and Hangzhou Sida will gradually strengthen business cooperation, link their membership systems, share resource and channel and leverage O2O channels to promote Hangzhou Sida’s immigration products to Utour users. Utour will organize site visits for Hangzhou Sida’s potential customers and promote to Hangzhou Sida’s clients a comprehensive range of outbound services, including outbound travel, overseas real estates purchaes, overseas study, study tours, outbound travel finance and insurance services
Utour’s strategy of creating a comprehensive outbound service platform is now becoming clearer. The company has invested in Germany’s leading destination travel company Kai Yuan to secure a foothold in popular European destinations. Utour also joined Fosun Group’s investment in French resort giant Club Med, took equity in hotels in Paris and set up a European lifestyle service platform.
Utour has also made a strategic investment in Golden International Travel, a tour operator specializing in US tours, and is partnering with communications company 263 to pioneer modern communications operations in the North American market and improve its US lifestyle service platform.(Translatoin by David)
