China Lodging Group will add 700 franchised hotels to its network this year, and boost the number of affiliated hotels in its H World network to 800.
China Lodging Group has already signed 311 hotels to the affiliated platform, with 262 hotels operational online, covering 108 cities extending to the scenic areas of Shangri-La in Yunnan, Shennongjia in Sichuan, Tongliao in Inner Mongolia and Shunde in Guangdong.
Meanwhile, H World has also recruited renowned international brands like Langham, Hilton, Shangri-La, Sheraton, Days Inn, and boutique hotels like the Country Garden Hotels and 5yue hotel chain.
H World has rich resources and services to meet a diverse range of accommodation needs, from budget to deluxe levels and for business or leisure travel. Bookings for H World’s select affiliate hotels are available on China Lodging’s home page and app.
China Lodging director Qi Ji reiterates the group's three golden principles –offering the lowest prices on the main distribution channels, providing maximum benefits such as unlimited free wifi access to loyalty club members, and keeping the app as convenient as possible.
The group is also gradually migrating from web to mobile apps, channeling bookings to mobile platforms and scaling back investment in website operations.
China Lodging will adopt a "select + optimize" model, integrating its 6,000 directly operated and licensed hotels with its 3,000 three- and four-star hotels and 1,000 luxury hotels into a "10,000-hotel platform", the largest affiliated hotel network in China’s hotel industry.(Translation by David)
