The company has expanded into overseas markets including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Brazil.

former Alibaba Vice President and Fliggy Travel executive, said it has secured more than RMB 100 million (approximately USD 14.77 million) in its Pre-A financing round.

The company develops AI agent-based productivity tools for the travel industry, helping hotels, attractions, travel suppliers and other brands automate content marketing, e-commerce operations, customer service and data analysis across online commerce and new media channels.

It is also building consumer-facing AI travel assistant capabilities covering trip inspiration, itinerary planning, booking support and in-trip services, as it seeks to turn fragmented travel search and operations into conversational workflows.

Backed by strong technological capabilities and commercial execution, WD Trip said it has continued to attract investor confidence:

* Its angel round was led by Tiantu Capital, with participation from several DeepSeek shareholders, Ofound Angel a Zhejiang University alumni-backed fund, and Hangzhou Qulian. The company raised tens of millions of U.S. dollars in the round.

* In November 2025, WD Trip achieved strong results in Baidu's Wenxin Cup Entrepreneurship Competition, securing a strategic investment from Baidu along with support in technology, resources, and ecosystem development.

* In February 2026, the company completed a Pre-A round exceeding RMB 100 million, led by Dunhong Asset Management, with participation from Caitong Capital, Tou Tou Shi Dao Investment Fund, and Yuanshuo Capital. Several DeepSeek shareholders also increased their stakes in the round.

WD Trip continues to expand its global footprint, with operations extending across Hong Kong and Macao, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Brazil, establishing a sustainable growth path where technology adoption and commercial performance reinforce one another.

Rejecting the rigid operating model of traditional SaaS solutions, WD Trip has built an open industry service platform centered on plug-and-play deployment and lightweight implementation.

Instead of requiring enterprises to spend significant time learning and adapting to complex systems, the company's AI agents can rapidly integrate with existing workflows, connect to proprietary knowledge bases, and take over repetitive, execution-heavy, and highly variable tasks. This enables businesses to transform traditional offline procedures and fragmented online operations into efficient, AI-powered conversational workflows.
