Shiji grows operating revenue by 18.24% last year

Operating revenue beyond mainland China were RMB 424 million, or 11.58% of total revenue, up by 69.11%.

Shiji Information announced that the company registered an 18.24% rise in operating revenue to RMB 3,663 million last year. Profit dropped 18.70% to RMB 494 million. 

The company's main operations include hotel information system and consultanting, catering information system, retail information system, distribution and data, payment and tourism leisure information system services.  

Acquisitions

In 2019, Shiji bought the 100% stake in Touchpeak Software for RMB 36.9 million, acquired the 100% shares of ICE PORTAL for RMB 93.8 million, and took full control of Quick.Check for RMB 233 million. 

The company will reluctantly comply with US President Donal Trump's executive order to sell its holding in StayNTouch, a hotel information management system that Shiji acquired in 2018. 

Operation

Shiji said it has integrated a series of hotel information management systems including PMS, POS, BO, CRS, LPS, CRM and PGS to build full stack and leading IP Hotel solutions for hotel properties of different ranges from budget hotels to low and high star-rated properties. The company claims to have 13,000 hotel clients in China's star-rated hotel market. 

The company's operating revenue from mainland China grew 13.76% in 2019 to RMB 3,239 million, accounting for 88.42% of Shiji's total revenue for the year. Operating revenue beyond mainland China were RMB 424 million, or 11.58% of total revenue, representing a 69.11% rise from the previous year. (Translated by Jerry)
