Group tours, admission tickets and other excursions during the nighttime in July surged by 60% over June. During the two weeks in late July, bookings of nighttime events soared by over 100% compared with two weeks earlier.
The proposal is expected to boost this year’s number of Chinese tourists from 10.5 million to 11.5 million.
The move comes amid a rebound in numbers of mainland tourists to Taiwan, which stood at 1.67 million in the first half, up 28% from a year earlier.
Over the first five months of 2019, the number of Chinese mainland tourists visiting Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan has increased 17.5%, 22.72% and 26.49% respectively compared with the previous year.
Established organizations with a broad reach lead the way in traveler satisfaction.
People from the eastern parts of China, especially Shanghai and Jiangsu and Zhejiang, are more curious about North Korea.
The customized travel market is likely to be more segmented. The market will desire more itineraries and products from different providers.
Last year, combined turnover of domestic sharing accomodation market stood at 16.5 billion yuan (about 2.4 billion U.S. dollars).
