The Shanghai-based low-cost carrier is planning to a four-times-weekly Zhengzhou-Yangzhou-Osaka service and a weekly service between Shenyang and Takamatsu in March 2016. According to an announcement released Friday on the website of the aviation watchdog, both routes will be operated using Airbus A320s.
Spring Airlines will compete against China Southern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines on the Zhengzhou-Osaka route, while being the only operator between Shenyang and Takamatsu.
The Air Transportation Department of CAAC is soliciting public comments on the application until February 16, 2016.
