A British tech startup has received a £1.3m investment in angel funding to develop its location curating platform.
Bimble, based in London, allows users to create lists of their favorite places and recommend them to others.
The investment comes from various early-stage technology investors, including Dimitris Panagopoulos, who led the funding round for Bimble, and female ‘angels’ who support other female entrepreneurs.
The app has already been selected for Google’s Digital Accelerator program, meaning it will be supported by Google’s app development team, and the business has formed a partnership with the travel company EasyJet.
