Yum China announced Tuesday that it has entered into a partnership with Universal Beijing Resort, the highly-anticipated theme park set to open in the spring of next year.
During the eight-year collaboration, the Chinese restaurant behemoth will provide dining services to the theme park's customers. The massive operator of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell brands currently spans more than 8,000 stores in China and boasts a digital base of 230 million users.
The theme park is backed by local state-owned companies and Universal Parks & Resorts, a subsidiary of Philadelphia-based American telecommunication conglomerate Comcast.
