Airsavvi, a global leader of travel data intelligence, has announced its partnership with Kiwi.com, a leading online travel-tech company, to provide real-time notifications of flight status changes for travelers booked with Kiwi.com.
Kiwi.com, as an established OTA brand, has embraced the advanced flight status data from Airsavvi, which maintains a most comprehensive and up-to-date flight database covering schedules, live flight status, and contextual data such as airport and aircraft information related to over 94% of global commercial flights. By integrating Airsavvi’s flight status information, Kiwi.com is able to automatically push notifications of any flight status changes (e.g. check-in counters, gates, estimated takeoff/landing time) for travelers who have booked a flight on their platforms.
“Providing detailed information about flights to customers is becoming a high priority for Kiwi.com and cooperation with Airsavvi only benefits us and helps us achieve the best results," says Vladimír Alfery, Head of Data Acquisition at Kiwi.com.
With its unrivaled product range and seamless integration, Airsavvi aviation data solutions have become the go-to choice for a wide global customer network which includes online travel agents (OTAs), airlines, logistics, ride services, flight right services, etc. Talking about its latest partnership, Mr. Zheng Hongfeng, CEO of VariFlight (the parent company of Airsavvi) said, “we are delighted to support the rollout of the new feature on Kiwi.com booking platforms and enhance the flight travel experience for their users. Apart from flight status data, we are also exploring more cooperation opportunities to provide more air journey services for passengers worldwide. They can, therefore, avail themselves of all relevant information that is needed for their flights, for example, status data of previous flights, historical on-time performance rates, and the Flight Happiness Index which contains rich content of amenity facilities including legroom, catering, a power outlet, WiFi, etc.”
