Chinese tourists are increasingly interested in traveling to East Africa's Kenya, and in addition to the traditional wildlife safaris, they are looking to have more diversified experiences such as visiting music festivals and popular culinary spots.
The number of Chinese visitors to Kenya rose by 10% from a previous year during the recent National Day holiday period, Xinhua News Agency reported today, citing preliminary statistics from the Kenya Chinese Tourism Association.
Last year, Kenya received about 81,700 Chinese tourists, an increase of 4% from 2017.
